(More customer reviews)This looks like a really versatile tool. My wife bought herself one and opened up all of the various implements to show me all the cool stuff it has. Unfortunately, the one thing it doesn't have is an instruction book explaining how to actually close the blades once they're locked open. She's tried pretty much everything (except, obviously, the right thing) and can't get them closed. so, rather than a cool versatile tool, she now has a fairly dangerous and unusable hammer bristling with knife blades!

(More customer reviews)I love the size of this knife and the feel, however I gave it a 4 because it doesn't have a stop that prevents it from closing on your finger when you close it. Not sure what that's called, maybe a hitch, but the smaller version of this blade has one. It stops at a right angle before you close it completely. It's a minor issue for sure, but I figure it is worth mentioning.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this multi tool while still working as a police officer.I can't tell you how many times it came in handy while working.Nothing earth-shattering, no great rescue stories, just something that was there every time I needed it, and did exactly what I wanted.Now that I'm retired, I still carry the tool around on my belt in the cordura case that came with the extra add-on tool kit.While I don't carry the extra tools anymore, I have found that a Swiss Army knife fits extremely well into the outer pocket of the double carry case and makes this an even more versatile tool.
Whichever way you buy it, with or without the add-on tool kit, it is worth the money and is definately something to have.

(More customer reviews)This knife is NOT, I repeat, NOT any more dangerous than ANY other knife out there.In fact, it is one well thought out tactical style folder that has become my EDC.The thumb studs, and the access to them, is equal on both sides of the knife.The M390 steel is superb and has held an edge very well through the few sharpenings I have had to do.The knife is well balanced and feels completely solid in use.The only downside I see is the gimping is less aggressive than I like but other than that, this thing is a complete winner.Kudos Benchmade!
