I've had this knife for almost 2 years now. When I first purchased it the lock lever was a bit stiff, but this was just "newness" - it became easy to use with a bit of use.

The handle is matte finished stainless steel with textured black G-10 inserts, which makes it very easy to hold on to (G10 = glass reinforced epoxy plastic good to almost -400F, tough stuff). The belt clip is very strong spring steel mounted with 3 Torx screws.

The drop-point blade is 1/8" thick at the base and made of 440 stainless steel; a hard, culinary class steel also used in razor blades. The knife is held together by 8 Torx screws and the pivot is also very tough, consisting of two parts; a broad-headed Torx screw and on the opposite side an internally threaded "bolt".

Because I use it heavily even stainless needs 440 sharpening, but this blade is easy to sharpen.I've used the small rod-type sharpeners coated with diamond dust, the dual-side drag-through portable sharpeners and diamond sharpening stones and they all do the job.
