(More customer reviews)I didn't like this knife very much when I first got it.It was inexpensive and I needed a new knife so on a whim I picked it up hoping I could rely on Smith and Wessons good reputation. It seemed just ok but later, as I started comparing and buying more knives and learning more about what makes a good knife good and a bad knife bad, I started to get pretty impressed with it.And no, it's not perfect. The rubber grip feels absolutely great but it is a bit bulky. And it doesn't hold an edge like some other knives but excells in that the steel is softer (I have yet to learn the specifics of all that 440c or whatever mumbo jumbo but I'm getting there)so it sharpens up like a razor with just a few passes.I like that very much and for that reason I have been using this one even more than my Gerber that is of similar size but stays dull and takes the patience of God to sharpen. The blade holds up nicely but something tells me it couldn't take too much abuse. All in all, a very nice knife and great for the price.
