(More customer reviews)This Smith & Wesson knife is definetly high quality when it comes right out of the package.Has a very sharp blade, very rough grip, and a super quiet opening system.I was so excited when I first got the knife but I was still sceptical about the pricing, and rightfully so.The knife has dulled considerably after only little over a month and with few uses. The grip has become less rough and the clip on the knife less stiff, both resulting in the knife occasionally falling off my belt (not good in many situations) and having the knife fall out of my hands (also very dangerous).I have been around and used many different knives and there are some I would reccomend over this Smith & Wesson for their price and quality.I personally like Buck knives better.Their sharpness has lasted longer for me and their rubber grips don't tend to wear as fast as this sand-paper grip.I will point out a VERY redeeming quality of the Smith & Wesson SWAT knife: The opening is so quiet and easy to use you can barely hear it.I love this feature and the safety latch.BOTTOM LINE:If this knife was $5-10 cheaper I would likely buy another in the future.
