(More customer reviews)I bought this knife for general utility uses. I use it to cut thin rope, twine, box tape, etc. The knife is small and light and fits in your pocket without intruding on anything else you may be carrying. It feels good in your hand, although a bit small.
I have found it holds up its sharp edge pretty well. I had to sharpen it last week after abusing it on some cardboard, but that is to be expected. I think this is a good knife for a young man with smaller hands, but my big hands found it a little too small.
As a bonus, I found this works great in some older buildings I often work in to jimmy old locks and to unjam old doors.Seems security was not so tight 100 years ago.
I think this knife is great for everyday use, unless you are a hunter or something like that. Great knife for a young man to learn with as well do to its smaller size.
I used to have a Gerber knife that was a tad bigger and seemed to be a bit sharper. When compared to that knife, this one seems average. However, it can hold its own.
