(More customer reviews)I needed an assisted-opening knife for frequent, one-handed backcountry use. It needed to be sturdy and have a large blade. This filled the bill. I like the textured handle for no-slip operation. I also like the blade steel. It came sharp and I got it razor-sharp with just a few strokes of the ceramic sharpener.
I find serrated blades cause more trouble than they're worth most of the time. So, having a smooth blade is a plus for me.
I definitely recommend this knife.
