(More customer reviews)I wasn't expecting much for something so inexpensive, but have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this offering from S&W.I find it aesthetically pleasing; the blade has a slight scoop nearer the handle, and the aluminum liner makes a really nice contrast to what looks to be a polymer grip.The aluminum liner has grip serrations everywhere it is exposed, and the polymer grip has plenty of texture but does have a somewhat slick feel to it.The only sticking point with the grip is the pocket clip position (right side-blade down carry) feels like it's impeding and otherwise comfortable setup.The index finger guard also acts as an opening assist lever and can really get this blade open quickly when applied in concert with a wrist flick, I would say almost as fast as my SOGs when done correctly.The one hand operation of this knife is very easy, including manipulating the liner-lock and can almost feel too loose, but I'm not concerned about accidental lock-out failures.For the size and construction it feels reasonably light and has okay balance.The blade was sharp out of the box, a few passes on my sharpener and it feels like I could shave with it.I think the polymer handle will definitely show damage if it is dropped, scratched, and through normal wear and tear.I'm not worried about it cracking or shattering, but it will show the results of regular; pretty much a non-issue when only paying $16.Overall a good value for this price range and worthy of 4+ stars as such, I'm not comparing this against knives that cost twice as much (or higher).Though it won't be my preferred everyday, this one is the nicest of my budget knives and will definitely find it's way into the rotation.
