(More customer reviews)This knife is absolutely one of the strongest and well rounded knives for survival and use in EMT situations.I bought this knife because of the name Gerber but this knife works so well with the grip, easily withstanding rain and slippery situations.The gut hook is perfect and is so lethal as a seatbelt cutter and also for everyday camping requirements because of its iron toughness.The sheath can be mounted sideways; works well for me because it allows me to keep it out of the way with easy side-release.The knife came sharp and the steel is superman tough.You won't go wrong with this knife but be very careful of re-sheathing it as the gut hook doesn't slip in well and I worry about how the sheath will hold up with time.However this is perfect but you can't pocket carry it!
